Celebrate African American History Month

Learn about Garrett Morgan, his ties to Cleveland and what he invented. Remember to grab a take-home enrichment activity.

Thomas Edison StoryWalk

All February

In honor of Thomas Edison’s birthday on Feb. 11, the library will post a StoryWalk for patrons to enjoy. Read and learn while walking about the library as to the accomplishments and life of this inventor. Take a look at the display of some of his “inventions.” Remember to grab a fact sheet and the “E is for Edison” take home craft.

Build With Duplos

Feb. 10, 10 a.m.

Families will have a blast with their kids building with the library’s Duplos.

PyeongChang 2018

Feb. 13, 3:30 p.m. 

Teens in grades 6-12 will explore and sample the food and culture of PyeongChang, South Korea, home of the XXIII Winter Olympics.

Yoga For The Family

Feb. 13, 7 p.m. 

Enjoy the relaxing power of yoga with Barbara Paulett-Long, occupational therapist and certified kids’ yoga teacher. Make a fun Valentine’s Day craft, too. Bring a yoga mat or a beach towel.

Join at one of the following community information-gathering sessions. The open-ended conversations are how you can help to guide your library in being a cornerstone of a strong, vibrant community. Most will last 60 to 90 minutes.
